Magical Art: Harmony
Harmony magic is primarily concerned with healing and protection. Its practicitioners often follow a lofty moral code which forbids them to spill blood and demands that they offer aid to innocents in need. In practice, of course, many Harmony mages fall well short of that idealistic goal, but the credo is still widely taught.
Primary Effects:
- Speeding up the natural healing processes.
- Neutralizing diseases and poisons.
- Protecting targets from harm.
- Stabilizing dying people.
Secondary Effects (-5):
- Calming people who are in the grips of strong emotion.
- Detecting hostility and other "negative" emotions.
- Restoring lost capabilities, like curing blindness.
- Damaging undead creatures.
Tertiary Effects (-10):
- Lulling people to sleep or rendering them incapable of hostile action.
- Identifying deliberate lies.
- Banishing hostile spirits.
What it can't do:
- Affect or detect actual good or evil.
