The head priestess of the Mother of All is referred to as the Oracle. It's believed that she (and, to a lesser extent, the other priestesses) dispenses the infinite wisdom of the Mother of All to deserving Beasts. Most visitors to the Sacred Hills are there to seek such advice.
The "city" of Dumar is actually just a sprawling, oversized village outside the Sacred Hills. It's where most petitioners wait before being called to speak with one of the priestesses. Outsiders are never allowed into the Sacred Hills unescorted. The punishment for a minor violation is a slashing. It's rumored that those who make it too far in before being caught are never seen again.
Dumar is also the best place to speak with Rangers or Caretakers, as there are always a few in attendance there. Supply caravans from Manforge often arrive there to deliver goods to the Caretakers and the First Folk.
The Goddess is properly referred to as the "Mother of Us All" or, in informal situations, the "All-Mother". The contraction "Mother-all" is regarded as impious by the most devout, but is in common usage anyway, especially as an exclamation.
Zuba City is run by the Engineers, a guild of tech-savvy Beasts who have learned to read a number of ancient books and have a few working computer devices. While the Engineers publicly support the church (I really need a good name for it), they are well aware that the Caretakers are cyborgs and greatly distrust them. The feeling is mutual; the Caretakers need the Engineers' expertise, but don't like dealing with Beasts who don't see them as sacred.
Manforge builds stuff for the Caretakers; it's actually run by one. Some of the parts that they build are very strange and are shipped out in sealed containers. They don't use slave labor as such, but the Manager is very strict and punishes almost all crimes with furnace duty.
