Well-coordinated pack hunters like wolves.
Creatures that can survive on carrion like hyenas.
Inoffensive support critters like mice.
Flying scouts like vultures.
Enormously strong beasts of burden like oxen or elephants.
Skilled swimmers like otters.
Skilled and fast climbers like squirrels.
